Product & Compatibility

+ What is a Yowelcom® external catheter?

Yowelcom® external catheters are soft, disposable urine collection devices designed for external use. They are placed outside the body and work with at-home urine collection systems to wick moisture away from the skin — providing a comfortable, non-invasive solution for everyday home care.

+ Are Yowelcom® catheters compatible with my PureWick™ system?

Yes. Yowelcom® external catheters are designed to be compatible with PureWick™ PW100 and PW200 urine collection systems. They connect to the standard tubing included with those systems.

+ Is Yowelcom® the same as PureWick™?

No. Yowelcom® is an independent brand and is not manufactured by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) or its subsidiaries. PureWick™ is a trademark of BD. References to PureWick™ systems are made solely for compatibility identification purposes.

+ What materials are Yowelcom® catheters made of?

Our catheters are made of medical-grade, latex-free materials with a soft, skin-friendly adhesive and a wicking design for comfortable external use. Each catheter is individually wrapped for hygiene and convenience.

+ Do you sell catheters for both men and women?

Yes. We offer both a female external catheter and a male external catheter, each available in a 30-count box.

+ How is Yowelcom® different from name-brand alternatives?

Yowelcom® catheters deliver the same core functionality as name-brand external catheters at a fraction of the cost. External catheter products from name-brand manufacturers can cost $6–$8 per unit, adding up to $180–$240 per month for daily use. The savings come from operating as a direct-to-consumer brand, without the overhead of traditional medical-supply distribution — not from cutting corners on materials or construction.

Usage & Care

+ How do I use a Yowelcom® external catheter?

Detailed usage instructions are included in every box. You can also visit our Instructions for Use page. Generally, the catheter is positioned externally against the body and connected to your collection system's tubing.

+ Are Yowelcom® catheters reusable?

No. Each Yowelcom® catheter is designed for single use. Do not wash or reuse a catheter that has already been used.

+ Can Yowelcom® catheters be used overnight?

Yowelcom® catheters can be used during both daytime rest and nighttime sleep. Ensure the catheter is positioned correctly and the collection system is placed on a stable surface near the user. Arrange tubing to avoid sharp bends or compression during use.

+ What if I experience skin irritation?

Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Individual experiences may vary depending on skin sensitivity. If you have known allergies or sensitive skin, review the material information on the product page before use.

Ordering & Shipping

+ Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We offer free standard shipping to all 50 U.S. states on every order.

+ Who pays for return shipping?

Yowelcom covers return shipping costs for verified defective, damaged, or incorrect items. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

+ Can I cancel my order?

Orders may be cancelled before fulfillment. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and the return policy applies. Contact support@yowelcom.com as soon as possible to request a cancellation.

No. Yowelcom does not submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial insurance plans and does not seek reimbursement on behalf of customers. All purchases are self-pay transactions.
